Depression can leave us feeling powerless and hopeless. I know how powerfully daunting it can feel.  Remember that feelings are not facts. When we are depressed, keep in mind that our thoughts, conclusions, and analyses can’t be taken seriously right then because we are not well and we are skewed. It’s like being intoxicated and trying to consider the meaning of life. Also, continuing to move and being in motion by taking very small steps has been proven to be remarkably powerful and beneficial in recovering from depression.
